On May 30, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Axar.az reports that during the telephone conversation, the heads of state expressed their satisfaction with the development of our relations, in particular, they emphasized the high-level mutual visits between the two countries and the expansion of economic and trade cooperation.

President Ilham Aliyev recalled that he had received a delegation of businessmen from the United Arab Emirates yesterday and touched upon the fruitful discussions held.

During the telephone conversation, it was emphasized with satisfaction that Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates closely cooperate within the framework of international organizations and constantly support each other, and views were exchanged on the prospects of our relations and future contacts.
