The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States (US) Senate.

The current state and prospects of Azerbaijani-US relations, the importance of relations between legislative bodies, regional security issues, as well as the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, were discussed at the meeting.

J. Bayramov informed the Senator about the current situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period, the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, and the obstacles ahead.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
