Khojaly genocide victims were commemorated in Izmir

An event related to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held in Izmir.

Axar.az reports that the event organized by the Izmir Ataturk Cultural Center (IAKD) in Bornova started with the playing of the national anthems of Turkiye and Azerbaijan, commemorating the memory of our martyrs.

Ashraf Tuna, deputy chairman of Turkiye-Azerbaijan Federation and chairman of IAKD, and Parviz Mammadzade made a wide report at the ceremony.

Baku State University Law Faculty Dean Amir Aliyev and Dogguz Eylul University Professors Gulmira Kuruoglu and Ulviyya Aydin drew attention to ways of raising the issue at the international level and punishing Armenia.

A film about the genocide was also shown at the event.
