Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his people on the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

Axar.az reports that he said this in a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on February 26.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the condolences.
