The delegation of Moldova in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe addressed a letter to the institution.

Axar.az reports that the letter of the Moldovan delegation called on the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan to work together to eliminate the gap that has arisen between the organization and Azerbaijan after the decision taken at the January 2024 session of the PACE.

In the letter, it was noted that Azerbaijan, like other member states, supports the advancement of the organization's values and principles through its delegation in PACE, and also stated the importance of solving all problems through inter-parliamentary dialogue within the framework of PACE in a time when there are important calls for security and peace in Europe.

The letter also emphasized that the inability of the Azerbaijani delegation to participate in the work of PACE does not bring long-term benefits to the organization or the member states of the organization.
