Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Malta's Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ian Borg.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was noted that issues on the OSCE agenda, as well as the regional situation, were discussed during the telephone conversation.

The main directions of the Azerbaijan-OSCE bilateral cooperation agenda, the position of our country regarding the challenges currently faced by the OSCE were brought to attention.

J. Bayramov also informed the other side in detail about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, and our country's approach to issues.

In addition, within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change hosted by our country, possible opportunities for cooperation with the OSCE and the chairmanship were considered.

At the meeting, other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
