Armenia has started construction of a new road in the direction of the village of Kirants, located on the border with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Minister of Territorial Management and Infrastructure of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan.

He said that there will be two ways to go to the village:

"One of those roads is being built instead of the part handed over to Azerbaijan as part of the demarcation process. The length of this road will be 750 meters. The construction of the road is planned to be completed in two months," Sanosyan said.

It should be noted that within the delimitation process, a part of the Kirants territory should come under the control of Azerbaijan.
