Azerbaijan is an important gas supplier - O'Brien

Azerbaijan is an important supplier diversifying gas supplies to Europe.

Axar.az reports that James O'Brien, the US Secretary of State's assistant for European and Eurasian affairs, said this in his statement to journalists.

"This is very important for European countries that are currently trying to reduce or eliminate their dependence on Russia, including diversifying their supplies," he stressed.
