On September 18, an annual meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and heads of diplomatic missions of Caspian states was held in Moscow. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloglu participated in the meeting.

Axar.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia that the meeting is traditionally dedicated to the International Caspian Sea Day.

"Interesting views were exchanged on a wide range of issues related to multifaceted cooperation in the Caspian region and deepening of interaction in the "five" format, as well as preparations for the next meeting of foreign ministers of the Caspian countries to be held in Turkmenistan," the ministry noted.
