The flag at the Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan was lowered to half-mast in connection with the memorial day.

Axar.az reports that Israeli Ambassador George Dick wrote about this in his post on his X account.

"On the anniversary of the October 7 attack by Hamas, a memorial ceremony was held at the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan. We lowered our flag at half-mast in the embassy in Baku and commemorated the victims of the October 7 massacre with an emotional memorial ceremony. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, ambassadors and leaders of the Jewish community joined us." - the ambassador noted.
