Azerbaijan is hosting an extremely important and vital event.

He said that Afghanistan did not participate in at least the last three COP events:

"Participating in the event held in Baku will help convey the voice of the Afghan community to the international community. Because Afghanistan is one of the countries that suffer the most from climate change. Therefore, we appreciate the importance of COP29."

According to the director general of the agency, Afghanistan has started to take certain steps in the fight against climate change.

He also said that solving climate-related problems is not something one country can do:

"It requires a collective effort. We believe that all parties participating in COP29 will support us. There are steps we need to take soon, decisions we need to make. Also, we will bring the problems faced by Afghanistan to the attention of the world countries. We need support."
