Russian prosecutor general Krasnov visits Azerbaijan

Russia’s Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has arrived in Azerbaijan on a business trip to participate in the high-level plenary session of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.

During the visit, Krasnov will hold a number of bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts.

The office stated that this year, the participation of law enforcement agencies in the climate summit is organized by the Azerbaijan Prosecutor General’s Office and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Interior.

The purpose of the delegation’s participation in COP29 is to emphasize the importance of enhancing the potential of law enforcement agencies in combating crimes that impact the environment.
