An earthquake struck the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az reports the Republican Seismological Service Center has issued a statement on the incident.

Based on the report, the earthquake occurred at 08:22 local time with a magnitude of 4.

The epicenter was located at a depth of 44 kilometers.
