Armenia's aggression has completely destroyed over 900 settlements, caused billions of dollars in damages, and left tens of thousands of hectares of land contaminated with mines and unexploded ordnance.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the Deputy Head of the State Security Service (SSS), Sharafat Hasanov, during his speech at the presentation of the assessment report by the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) "Accounting for the Missing Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan".

He mentioned that 107 individuals were tortured and killed after being captured:

"The primary information regarding missing persons is with Armenia. Armenia avoids providing information about burial sites with various excuses. Most of the field commanders are still alive and are living in Armenia."
