The next review session of the open trial on the criminal cases of citizens of the Republic of Armenia Araik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan and others, who are accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of an aggressive war, genocide, violation of the laws and regulations of war, as well as terrorism, financing terrorism, forcible seizure of power, forcible retention of power and numerous other crimes as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, was held.
Axar.az reports that footage related to the Khojaly genocide will be shown at the session, and those with a weak heart were warned to leave the hall, given the sensitive moments in the video materials.
The video materials contain images of the corpses of men and women of different age groups, including children and the elderly. Some of the corpses had their skin peeled off, their eyes gouged out, and some of their limbs were severed. During the screening of the video, those in the hall were moved.
Some of the accused also demonstrated through their actions that the video footage allegedly had a bad effect on them.
Then, protocols on the Khojaly genocide were presented in court.
