On April 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and family members got acquainted with the projects implemented and planned for the upcoming period in the territory of the “Sea Breeze” recreation center in Baku.

It was noted that 10 seven-story buildings consisting of 1,260 apartments were built within the framework of this project. To ensure the comfort of residents, modern infrastructure - swimming pools, recreation areas - is planned here, as well as extensive greening work has been carried out in the area. “Sea Breeze” received a total of about 4 thousand guests within the framework of COP29 held in our country, most of whom were accommodated in the buildings of the “Park Residences 2” project.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev was informed about the general master plan of “Sea Breeze” and the implemented projects. It was noted that more than 500 real estate objects have been built on the territory of the complex so far. To create high-level, comfortable conditions for residents and guests, as well as effectively organize their leisure time, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, fitness centers, restaurants, cafes, children's and sports grounds, jogging and cycling paths, and fountains have been created in the recreation center. There is also a school, a kindergarten, and a hospital.
Special attention has been paid to landscaping, about 10 million plants and trees have been planted, and the total area of green zones has been increased to 300 hectares.
“Sea Breeze”, which combines permanent residence and high-level recreational infrastructure, is confidently developing as a city of the future. According to experts in the field, this is a unique project of a global scale that combines a large number of real estate objects of various formats in one area.
“Sea Breeze”, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, just 30 minutes from the center of Baku, covers an area of 500 hectares. More than 1.5 million square meters of residential and commercial real estate projects have been implemented and put into operation here. More than 150 hectares of land have been allocated for recreational zones, parks, and beaches.
“Sea Breeze”, the main projects of which are located on the coastline, will increase the tourism opportunities of our country in the future and make Azerbaijan more attractive in terms of tourism.
“Caspian Dream Liner”, a flagship real estate project consisting of apartments and hotel rooms built in the form of a huge 11-story liner, will be built on an artificial island. An apartment-hotel, a shopping center, and swimming pools will be created here. Thanks to this unique architectural structure, “Sea Breeze” will become an even more attractive destination on the global tourism map.
Several local and foreign architectural bureaus are working on the preparation of a large-scale project fund, and world-famous architects are involved in the design work.
By 2028, it is planned to build another 700 buildings here, as well as create a unique artificial peninsula in the shape of a crescent, covering a total area of 50 hectares. This project will include hotels of the world's leading hotel chains, shopping centers, yacht berths, and a concert venue with a capacity of more than 40,000 spectators.
The work carried out at Sea Breeze also plays an important social role, contributing to the creation of new jobs. Currently, the complex employs 6,560 people, and this figure is expected to increase significantly in the future. The total volume of investments invested here already amounts to $3 billion, and it is planned to attract more than $5 billion in investments in the next five years. According to the results of 2024, Sea Breeze has made a significant contribution to the country's economy and is among the largest taxpayers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
