Former Croatian national team football player Nikola Pokrivac has died in a car accident.

Axar.az reports that the information was announced on the official website of the Croatian Football Association.

It was stated that the accident occurred in Karlovac as a result of a collision involving four vehicles. Two people, including Pokrivac, died, and three others were injured.

It should be noted that the 39-year-old midfielder played for clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka in his home country, as well as Monaco in France. He made 14 appearances for the national team.
