The Euronews TV channel covered the topic of mass graves discovered in the territory of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan - in Shusha and Khojaly.
Axar.az reports that the TV channel's material stated that the remains found are likely to belong to people who went missing during the First Karabakh War.
In addition, experts have discovered possible signs of torture.
"Bones and other fragments belonging to at least seven people have been discovered. The evidence found indicates that these people were probably tortured before being killed.
The civilians were buried about 25 years ago," the information on the TV channel's website states.
The material also emphasized that Karabakh became a place of mass killings during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Recall that in April, two mass graves were discovered in the liberated territories. One of the mass graves was discovered near the city of Shusha, at the junction of the Shusha-Khankendi and Shusha-Lachin roads. The remains found here are believed to belong to at least 5 people. In another cemetery discovered on the Askeran-Khojaly road, the remains of at least 7 people were discovered. According to experts, the remains belong to civilians.
