It is planned to relocate about 6 thousand people to the village of Khidirli in Aghdam.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Leyla Sarabi, the press secretary of the Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend regions.

According to her, the construction of the village will be carried out in 2 stages. Currently, the construction of the first quarter has been fully completed:

"Khidirli village is located in the north-west of Aghdam city, 3 kilometers from the district center. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the village in October 2022. The area of ​​the designed territory of the village is more than 417 hectares."

L. Sarabi noted that it is planned to resettle about 6 thousand people and build 1,498 individual houses here in the 1st and 2nd stages:

"The area of ​​the designed area for the first stage is 170.44 hectares. At this stage, it is planned to resettle 719 families, a total of 2,951 people. In the first stage, 719 individual houses were built in the village, of which 263 are two-room, 332 are three-room, 121 are four-room, and 3 are five-room."
