Judo Grand Prix tournament in Austria concluded

The Judo Grand Prix tournament in Linz, Austria, has concluded.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani national team won four medals at the international competition.

On the final day, Jamal Gamzatkhanov claimed a bronze medal. Competing in the over-100 kg weight category, the judoka secured a decisive victory over Georgian competitor Irakli Demetrashvili in the match for third place.

Earlier, Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) won gold, Vusal Qalanderzade (81 kg) earned silver, and Omar Rajabli (81 kg) took bronze.

In total, the Azerbaijani team achieved 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, finishing third overall among 59 countries and first in the men’s competition.
