Azerbaijan to host FIFA U-15 World Cup

Azerbaijan will host the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in 2026.

Axar.az reports that the event will be held from October 22 to 31, 2026, following a decision by the Bureau of the FIFA Council.

The tournament will be open to boys' national teams under the age of 15 from all FIFA member associations.

FIFA awarded the event to Azerbaijan in recognition of the country's high-quality sports infrastructure and its proven ability to host major international tournaments, reflecting the organization's confidence in the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan was previously announced as the host of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2027.

FIFA also stated that the second U-15 tournament, scheduled for 2027, will be held for girls' national teams. Beginning in 2028, separate U-15 competitions will be organized for both boys and girls.
