For the first time in history: two women in space

For the first time in the history of the cosmos will come two women.

In 2019 for the first time in the history of the spacewalk is planned the release of two women – American women Anne McClain and Kristina cook. On Thursday, February 21.

“As I understand it, at this point, McClain is scheduled for a spacewalk,” said cook in a pre-flight press conference at the cosmonaut training Center.

It is known that the first woman to enter the open space was Soviet cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya in 1984. Since then, the crews that go out into space, never consisted only of women.
