Facial recognition on Google's Pixel 4 works with people's eyes CLOSED and means users' phones could be opened by others while they're asleep
Axar.az reports citing Dailymaill that a security concern has already been spotted in Google's Pixel 4 smartphone after it launched this week.
The device's facial recognition system will apparently unlock the phone even if someone's eyes are closed.
Although Google acknowledges the way the system works, it was described as a 'significant' security threat by one expert after a BBC reporter discovered the hack earlier this week.
It comes after Samsung was yesterday forced to admit that the fingerprint unlocks system on its Galaxy S10 can be fooled by a £3 plastic screen protector.
