Instagram will highlight dull friends to unfollow

The social network has launched a new tool that lists the friends who you interact with least on the app.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that Instagram will now encourage users to unfollow any friends who they barely interact with on the app.

The new “Least Interacted With” menu can be found by going to your Instagram profile and tapping on the “Following” list.

Inside the list will be categories that sort the accounts you follow, including a new “Least Interacted With” list.

Tapping on the category brings up a list of the accounts you interact with the least, along with buttons to easily unfollow each account, removing them from your feed of photos and videos.

If users had been opening Instagram and seeing posts they didn’t interact with, they would likely have closed the app again.
