Google has shut down nearly 90 Russian YouTube channels

In April-June, Google shut down more than 2,500 YouTube channels linked to China and the Russian Federation as part of a crackdown on misinformation.

Axar.az reports that the company alone closed 2,596 channels connected to China in three months.

At the same time, about 90 channels connected with Russia, as well as about 20 channels connected with Iran were blocked.
