Users of Telegram messaging app report widespread outages

More than 2,000 people have reported outages in the work of the Telegram messaging app over the past day, according to data from the Sboi.rf service.

Axar.az reports that most reports came from Moscow (36% of all reports), St. Petersburg (13%), the Krasnodar Region (13%), the Voronezh Region (4%) and the Volgograd Region (3%).

According to the Downdetector service, outages are also observed in the US. Most users (60%) complain about connection to the server, 25% say the app stopped working, and 15% can’t use chats, according to Downdetector.
