Apple's AI features roll out on iPhones

After a lengthy wait, Apple has finally launched its artificial intelligence (AI) tools for the iPhone ,though only for a select group of users.

Axar.az reports that , citing BBC, Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI tools announced in June, became available on Monday to some iPhone owners globally. Users with eligible devices can access it by updating to the latest version of Apple's iOS.

Those interested in Apple Intelligence must request to join a waitlist after updating to iOS 18.1. According to Apple, users should be able to activate the AI tools "within a few hours" of joining the waitlist, although wait times may vary.

The new features include notification summaries, message-writing assistance, and an enhanced interface for the virtual assistant Siri. However, they are only available on the latest devices, including all iPhone 16 models and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
