Tesla Model Y makes first driverless delivery

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the first autonomous delivery of the Tesla Model Y driverless taxi was completed a day ahead of schedule.

Axar.az reports that in accordance with the entrepreneur reported this on his “X” account.

“The first fully autonomous delivery of the Tesla Model Y from the factory to the customer’s home was completed a day ahead of schedule!” he wrote.

Mask thanked Tesla’s software developers and artificial intelligence chip developers for the successful implementation of the project.

Tesla will compete with the self-driving Waymo taxi service, which began operating in the US domestic market in 2020. In the global market, Musk’s company will compete with Chinese companies Apollo Go, WeRide, and Pony AI.
