Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced Monday the launch of ‘HUMAIN,’ a new AI company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Axar.az reports, citing Al Arabiya, the company’s mission is to develop and manage artificial intelligence technologies and solutions while investing in the broader AI ecosystem.

Chaired by the Crown Prince himself, HUMAIN will offer advanced AI models and applications, including the development of one of the world’s leading Arabic-language large language models (LLMs). The company also plans to build next-generation data centers and cloud computing infrastructure to support its AI services.

HUMAIN aims to strengthen local, regional, and global capabilities in developing and delivering AI solutions, helping unlock new opportunities in the digital economy.

HUMAIN also intends to promote local innovation while safeguarding intellectual property, supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to become a global hub for AI and data technologies. The company seeks to attract top investment and talent from both the Kingdom and around the world.
