The Falcon 9 launch vehicle successfully launched a batch of 22 Starlink minisatellites into orbit.

Axar.az reports that SpaceX announced this.

It was noted that the rocket was launched from the SLC-4E launch pad at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. About an hour later, the satellites separated from the second stage of the launch vehicle and entered orbit.

According to the company, the reusable first stage of the launch vehicle, which was used for the 17th time as part of the launch, made a controlled vertical landing on the “Of Course I Still Love You” sea drone platform in the Pacific Ocean.

It should be noted that since May 2019, SpaceX has launched more than 7,800 such satellites as part of the Starlink project. Some of them have failed or left orbit. More than 6.9 thousand devices are operational in orbit.
