TikTok is back in US

Twenty-six days after it was banished from US app stores, TikTok has returned to the iOS App Store and Google Play store.

Axar.az reports that Apple and Google brought back the Chinese-owned video app after receiving a letter from US attorney general Pam Bondi assuring the companies they would not be fined for hosting it.

The popular app, which is used by more than 170 million American users, went dark briefly last month in the US as the ban deadline approached.

Trump then signed an executive order granting TikTok a 75-day extension to comply with a law banning the app if it is not sold.
