The United States and Turkiye are moving toward resolving the issue of the S-400 air defense system, which arose due to misunderstandings between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by U.S. Ambassador to Turkiye Tom Barrett.

“Of course, we will find a solution. The S-400 issue emerged in 2017 because of misunderstandings. Ten years later, we find ourselves in a completely different situation, and we are progressing toward resolving the problem. There are solutions to the F-35, F-16, and S-400 issues, which have once become political disputes. Especially now, as our trade volume reaches $100 billion annually, and NATO increasingly turns to Turkiye for assistance, advice, and support,” he said.
