The United States must compensate Iran for the damage caused during last month’s war with Israel and provide guarantees that such attacks will not be repeated in the future.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this in an interview with the Financial Times.

He noted that the U.S. harmed Iran through its involvement in the 12-day Israel-Iran war that occurred last month, and without compensation, returning to nuclear talks would not be possible:

“They must explain why we were attacked in the middle of negotiations and give assurances that such actions will not happen again in the future.”
