Four Iranian cities rank among world's hottest

In the past 24 hours, the city of Omidiyeh in Iran’s southeastern Khuzestan province has been recorded as the hottest place on Earth.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the meteorology-specialized website Ogimet.

It was noted that between July 30 and 31, a temperature of 51°C (123.8°F) was recorded in Omidiyeh.

Additionally, the cities of Ahvaz, Abadan, and Dezful also ranked among the 15 hottest cities in the world.
