The U.S. Treasury Department has announced new sanctions on 18 entities and individuals accused of helping Iran evade sanctions and generate revenue.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that targets include RUNC Exchange System Company and its leadership, Cyrus Offshore Bank, and Iranian software holding Pasargad Arian Information and Communication Technology.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the measures aim to block Iran’s access to funds and starve its weapons programs of capital, pledging continued action to disrupt such networks.
