The agreement on unblocking communications in the South Caucasus has opened a new chapter in dialogue within the “3+3” format, and the next meeting in this format is planned to be held in either Baku or Yerevan.

Axar.az Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan said this in an interview with Iran’s IRNA agency.

“We believe this dialogue format can become a favorable platform for discussing regional projects, especially in the field of transport and infrastructure communications,” he said.

Kostanyan stressed that recent developments in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the fundamental agreement on restoring transport routes in the region, have opened a new chapter for dialogue, including within the “3+3” framework.

“According to the latest statement by the ministers, the next meeting should be held in Yerevan or Baku. We are also considering the possibility of holding bilateral consultations with the Azerbaijani side,” the deputy minister emphasized.
