Yuri Vernidub appointed Neftchi head coach

Former Kryvbas coach Yuri Vernidub will be the new head coach of Neftchi.

Axar.az reports that TaToTake published information about this.

According to the source, the 59-year-old specialist's contract with Neftchi will be for 1.5 years. In Baku, Vernidub will be assisted by Vitaly Vernidub, Dmitry Kara-Mustafa, Valery Mikhailenko, and Igor Fokin.

The source adds that today, December 8, Vernidub has already arrived in Baku and will take part in the planned match of his new club with Sabah.

Vernidub previously refused to manage the Bulgarian Ludogorets and an unnamed Hungarian club.

It should be noted that earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian specialist arrived in Baku on December 6.
