If the meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin does not take place, Europe and the United States will increase anti-Russian sanctions.

Axar.az reports that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said this.

“We, that is, the Europeans and the Americans, have expressed our hope that the meeting between Zelensky and Putin will take place within two weeks. If such a meeting does not take place, the issue will again be on our side. Then we will discuss this topic again. These discussions will be held to increase pressure on Russia,” Merz said.
