Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered the deployment of troops to the border regions with Colombia to prevent a possible invasion by the United States.

Axar.az informs that Bloomberg reported on this.

“President Nicolas Maduro confirmed in a television program that he had ordered the deployment of 15,000 well-armed and trained men and women to the states of Zulia and Tachira,” the publication writes.

It should be noted that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had previously announced a nationwide mobilization due to the threat from the United States.
