Overall, in the U.S., the fact that the agreement was initialed rather than formally signed demonstrates the consistency of Azerbaijan’s position.

Axar.az informs Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a special meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Washington.

The minister reminded that Azerbaijan and Armenia sent a joint appeal to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the liquidation of the Minsk Group and related structures.

"The appeal has been distributed among the OSCE countries, a decision is expected on September 1," Bayramov said.
