US President Donald Trump has officially terminated the protection of Kamala Harris by the Secret Service.

Axar.az informs that CNN reported on this.

According to the document signed by Trump, the six-month security protection period provided by law for former Vice President Kamala Harris expired on July 21. However, this period was extended for a year by an order signed by former President Joe Biden when he was still in office and which was not made public.

Trump revoked that order and instructed the Department of Homeland Security to stop providing additional security measures to Harris from September 1, 2025.

“The Vice President is grateful to the United States Secret Service for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to security,” Harris's senior adviser Kirsten Allen told CNN.
