The new appointments in the leadership of the Turkish Armed Forces in early August will give another impetus to the development of our military cooperation.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, at a reception held in Baku on August 30 - Turkiye's Victory Day.

He noted that the planned visit to our country in the coming days of the new Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Selcuk Bayrakdaroglu, will serve to further strengthen relations between our armies.
