French President Emmanuel Macron's statements about the deployment of Western troops to Ukraine as a security guarantee are aimed at disrupting the work on the peace agreement, and it is not surprising that Russia sees these troops as a legitimate target.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Florian Philippot, the leader of the French Patriotic Party.

"This is not surprising; it has long been known that the soldiers sent by the West to Ukraine will become a legitimate target for the Russian army. What is surprising is that Emmanuel Macron and the European Union are stubbornly pursuing this, although they know full well that this will not only pose a potential threat to our soldiers, but also the risk of escalating the conflict," he noted.
