Erdogan comments on armed attack at Izmir police station

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that they had received painful news from Izmir this morning that deeply shocked everyone.

Axar.az informs, citing Turkish media, President Erdogan expressed his condolences for the police officers who were martyred and wished a swift recovery to those who were injured. He added that the 16-year-old perpetrator had been apprehended, his connections were under investigation.

It should be noted that earlier today, an armed attack on a police station in Izmir left two officers dead and six others injured.
