Latifa al-Durubi, the wife of Syria's transitional President Ahmed al-Sharaa, has graduated from the Faculty of Arabic Language and Literature at Idlib University.

Axar.az reports that the university held a graduation ceremony titled "Victory and Salvation."

President Sharaa also attended the event and personally presented his wife with her diploma.

Speaking at the ceremony, Latifa al-Durubi expressed her gratitude to her husband for supporting her in her educational life:

"I would like to express my special gratitude to Mr. President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who believed in science and gave me the first support, who was with me as a woman, a wife, and a science student. My dear parents, your prayers and approval were the light that guided me in difficult times. Every Syrian mother, those who lost their children and sent their grandchildren to school, every martyr who did not complete the path and entrusted the homeland to us, this success is yours, only yours."
