On May 7, a friendly match was held between the “Government” and “Parliament” teams.

Axar.az reports that the game took place at the Baku Tennis Academy.

The “Government” team included State Border Service Chief Colonel General Elchin Guliyev, Education Minister Emin Amrullayev, Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gayibov, State Customs Committee Chairman Shahin Baghirov, Head of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Ramin Mammadov, Head of the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs Fuad Muradov, Head of the State Statistics Committee Azar Mursagulov, Chairman of Azerishiq OJSC Vugar Ahmadov, Head of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev, and Chairman of the SME Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov.

The “Parliament” team consisted of MPs Shahin Ismayilov, Azer Amiraslanov, Zaur Shukurov, Ramid Namazov, Vugar Bayramov, Mushfig Jafarov, Mazahir Efendiyev, Nurlan Hasanov, Emin Imanov, and Samir Valiyev.

A friendly match that featured an interesting and intense contest ended in a 6–6 draw.

“Both sides made so many concessions to ensure that friendship would prevail,” Education Minister Emin Amrullayev commented.
