Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will speak at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Sharon Birch, spokesperson for the President of the UN General Assembly.

According to her, Pashinyan will take the podium of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 26 and will be the 9th on the list of speakers.

The "High-Level Week", which brings together world leaders, will begin on September 23. In accordance with tradition, the President of Brazil will deliver an opening speech, followed by US President Donald Trump.

The "High-Level Week", which will be held for the 80th time this year, will be attended by heads of state and government from 193 UN member states, as well as foreign ministers of some countries. The event is expected to last until September 30.
