Latvia, which closed its airspace near its borders with Russia and Belarus for a week on September 11, is extending this period.

Axar.az reports that the Latvian Ministry of Defense has published a statement on this.

It was stated that the airspace will be closed from September 18 to October 8:

“The restrictions will allow the National Armed Forces to fully control the closed zone, test surveillance systems, and conduct unmanned aerial vehicle and counter-drone simulations.”
