Erdogan responds to Netanyahu’s claim on Jerusalem

Netanyahu does not know these things, but here we say it again today, so that perhaps he will learn: with respect, wisdom, and tolerance, we have turned this blessed city into a land of peace for centuries.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the city of Jerusalem.

"As a people who have carried the flag of Islam for centuries, we have had the honor of serving Jerusalem for 400 years," Erdogan added.

It should be noted that Netanyahu had appealed to Erdogan and claimed that Jerusalem belonged to them.
