Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been re-elected as chairman of the ruling Civil Contract Party.
Axar.az informs, citing Armenian media, during the party’s 7th congress, the preliminary electronic results show that Pashinyan was elected chairman of the board with 758 votes.
After the electronic count, the ballots will also be counted manually. Complaints may be submitted within 24 hours.
Pashinyan stated that if an appeal is filed within this period, the final result will be announced after the complaints are reviewed. If no appeals are submitted, the manual count will confirm the final outcome.
